Well the truth is, the security is very limited due to door frame failure. Door frame failure is caused by the two common and standard applications applied by most builders and door frame manufacturers. The problems are caused by the thickness and length of the strike plate in which the dead bolt extracts into a the shortness of the screws that anchor the strike plate to the door frame. The door reinforcement kit on this video is a 5 foot metal sleeve that fastens to the studs behind the door frame with 10 long screws adding maximum security to your door.
